I had never heard of consumer centers or information being used as legitimate,legal sources to make decisions based on necessary components to living. Example you need insurance to drive or operate a moving vehicle. I personally need my car to get to work,groceries,necessary household items. We don’t have public transportation to get to work. I have had insurance for at least 20 years. An insurance agent or company which is Farmers Insurance falsely reported an auto accident on my name,DL,S.S# basically all personal information relating to me. I have not had an accident. It increased my rates when I was looking for lower coverage because of income loss,disability. Liberty Mutual actually relied on this false report from Farmers to “ Lexis Nexis” to raise my insurance rate. I was never told about any consumer information being “ reported to companies impersonation of a legitimate reporting agency such as your state,federal,credit bureau. LexisNexis allows many individuals,companies to falsely report things against you without your knowledge. They keep “ consumer reports” on you that most are not even accurate.i looked at the list and it is so LONG it even included a childhood home with a current date but still trying to find out who reported it.Does America have any laws that protect you when you were a minor.( safety issues). Again each “Record” is a separate entity or person that reported you. LexisNexis is not a reliable source of information. They boast over and over they use the Fair credit Reporting Act but send our personal information to people in the Phillippines who then ask ALL customers to give SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER to them over the phone. They ask for a Drivers license number and other personal details -my information is not protected.they say it is confirming identification but the reporter didn’t have to have all this information or hacked something to get it. LexisNexis is impersonating a legitimate reporting agency and calling it “ consumer “ center. Using the people in the Philippines. They give you incorrect information to push you that you have to give personal details to get your own consumer information.that others who report it don’t have to have to report the lies. I was not allowed to make a dispute on my own either. This is bogus,false,lies and LexisNexis and other companies need a lawsuit against them. All “consumers “ should do this together to include each individual as a seperate account that forms one lawsuit.
