We received a bill with no information about who the doctor was or if they had filed insurance. We tried to contact, but there was no contact information given. We called our insurance and they said they never received anything from this doctor or her company. We received a bill from the collection agency, ARS. When we called them all they could tell us was they had been given an amount to collect. They couldnt or wouldnt give us contact information. They called several months later and wanted to settle for half of the amount. We told them not until they filed with insurance. They have reported it to our credit, but it didnt affect our score.
