I am interested in downsizing. I live in a two story house. My husband became disabled and cannot go up and down stairs anymore. I want to move to another home that is a one story. The problem is that it is very expensive to transition to another home when they charge is 1500 transfer fee, plus security deposit, and the first months rent. It would clearly cost us over 3000.00, which we do not have. We feel like we are trapped in this lease sometimes. Just too many fees in order to move, and we just dont have it. My husband is on disability and I am the only person working in my household.
