After a hard working long exhausting week for me and my son battling the flu, as he felt better we decided to eat at your establishment in the Bronx coop area. I have to say from the minute we walked in I knew it was going to be a terrible experience but hey lets try anyway. First the hosted sat us down on regular I politely told her no we would like a booth so we had to wait no biggie, but as we waited a bald head gentleman that cleans the tables is shouting out if they want booth they gotta wait thats the name of the game here is what he kept mentioning with a attitude. So we waited not a problem finally we got seated at the booth where it would be more comfortable for a family of 4. Waitress shows up after 15 minutes doesnt introduce herself as being our waitress just says give me a minute Ill be right back. Comes back 10 minutes later still no menus and asked us if we ready to order. Then looks and says wow ya got no menu. Gets menus takes our orders, water comes 15 minutes later appetizers come 25 minutes later. Another family sits on the side of us they have menus and order was taken right away. We are sitting there waiting for our food the family that sits near us got their appetizers and drinks plus food 15 minutes before us. Food comes now 45 minutes after the appetizers waitress then brings salad no bread we have to stop another waitress to get us bread. From visiting Olive Garden in the past at a different location the salad and bread comes before the appetizers or at same time but definitely before the main course. I sent my food back due to the presentation it was horrible I wouldnt even serve that to my dog max. So at this time my wife asked to speak to the manager he came over she spoke with him told how unsatisfied we are with the service he apologized and said the waitress has a lot of tables told no thats a lie the other 2 tables she had are gone they done the family on the side of are almost done so its only 2 tables she has he now begins to go back and forth with me about the food I sent back I told him look at it would you eat that? He says yes I would sarcastically. I or my family has never been treated this way at Olive Garden or any other restaurant that weve dined at in the past, but Im now really considering never to go back to Olive Garden in the future due to this incident. I feel McDonalds wouldve treated me better. What a waste of family time that I will never get back. Someone should really consider retraining waitresses, host, manager, and chefs on proper restaurant policy and procedures. CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
