Purchased a lift chair - had a 5 year warranty. Had problems with the chair - and you have to call Guardsman, make a claim and then wait to have service person come look and they order parts - which some come from overseas. Can take 6 weeks to 3 months. If all the parts are not there at once - they will not touch it. Once fixed - within 3 months -had an issue again. They would not cover fixing it again. Only into warranty 3 years. So what about the other 2 years ?? Went to store cause I got nowhere on phone - talked to a manager who e-mailed Guardsman - to this day have never gotten a call and that was over 5 months ago. Buyer beware - I will never buy from Steinhaufels again or recommend anyone go there.
