Does Thule actually have customer service?

Purchased a Step Up 232 for Mother's Day. Found the product faulty. Contacted Thule with photos - heard nothing. Called. Was told to file warranty claim. Filed warranty claim with photos. Heard nothing. Called again. Told to wait. Thule had never heard of the problem I described before. Did not receive promised call-back or e-mail. Makes one wonder - Does Thule Actually Have Customer Service
