Do Not Use Sheet Vinyl

1

Sheet vinyl was installed in 2 kitchens and a bathroom. After one year blue spots started appearing from the underside but could not be cleaned. Also, the weight of appliances put dents into the product which make it difficult to move the refrigerator to clean under it. After bringing the issues to the attention of the local flooring store that recommended and installed the floors, I was told that Tarkett originally said the flooring was waterproof. Tarkett then changed the description to water resistant for 2 years. The store then said the vinyl should not be installed in moist areas. Where else but kitchens and bathrooms would vinyl flooring be installed? Tarkett has done nothing to stand behind their product. There is supposed to be a 10 year warranty on the product.
