I made a reservation through them being fully unaware that there is a no refund policy. They first state there might be a "penalty " but do not make clear you will lose all your money. They will tell you "This particular hotel has a no refund policy." It was La Quinta. They have a refund policy. Furthermore, they don't make clear, as they should beforehand, which hotels have this no refund policy. Most hotels, actually, if booked directly, don't even charge until you check in. I had wanted to support a site for dogs and their people, I did them a favor, as it's so much easier to book direct, only to have them rip me off. They were rude about it too.
