Update by user Oct 29, 2020 Nothing from them whatsoever!! Absolute crickets! So I called them. Told the "supposed manager" what transpired and he said well bring your car back in we will look at it again? And when asked if his shop was so reputable why wasn't I given an estimate on their letter head? He ignored this question and said did I want to make an appointment? NEVER ADDRESSED A DAMN THING! THESE PEOPLE HAVE TRULY LOST IT!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Original review posted by user Sep 29, 2020 I took my 2015 Kia Optima to Brakes for less on Tunnel Road in Asheville North Carolina on September 28th 2020. I went there for my 189.00 offered brake job. After the car was taken back about 15 minutes later their Mechanic came out and told me I need to spend 1,100 dollars ON JUST FRONT BRAKES ALONE! They said I needed new calipers, as one side had seized up completely and the other side was tight (NOT SURE HOW THAT EQUATES INTO 1100) and pads and rotors. So I told them, no, thank you and had them give me back my car. I asked them to write down what they diagnosed, and they refused to put anything on their letterhead (I now know why) and scratched out the issues on a post-it. So this morning I took my car to a mechanic in Weaverville and TOLD HIM NOTHING. He just called me and said brakes all the way around rotors and pads NO CALIPER ISSUES!!! 325.00 dollars!!! When a company will not stand behind their work and will not write it down on their letter head THERE IS A PROBLEM!!! SHAME ON YOU GUYS! How many elderly customers are done this way? So I strongly issue caution where they are concerned and I intend to file complaints with anyone and everyone! I don't liked being ripped off! User's recommendation: Don't take their word.
