I paid $260 for 2 cleaners for 3 hours (6 man-hours) for spring cleaning. I regret engaging Domestic One because: 1. They which left a brown stain on my white leather sofa when they put a rusty can on it. 2. They left a red/brown ketchup stain on my white bathroom counter top. This happened because when I asked them to polish my shower head, and they asked me for ketchup (which, to their credit, did work). But not only did they leave the ketchup packets on the countertop which created the stain, there was also a lot of leftover ketchup in hard to reach places on the shower head which I cleaned myself. 3. They accidentally took my Magiclean duster (giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was an accident). When I sms-ed them to inform them about this, I was told that this was an accident, and that they would transfer the cost ($13.95) to me. It's been 2 months and I haven't received the transfer despite several reminders on my end, and promises from them to do so. To their credit, one of the staff was better performing, and he did a good job of some tasks, like scrubbing my rusty dishwasher rack, and polishing one glass door. But all the other tasks were sloppily done, and towards the end, they were trying to finish early. I feel short-changed of the 6 hours of cleaning I paid for. It is also telling when their website and Facebook page do not allow customers to post reviews. For spring cleaning, the price of more than $40/hour was definitely not worth it. I expected that the higher price tag would mean that the staff would be more professional and through in their cleaning, and that I wouldn't need to supervise them closely. I would have been better off engaging an ad-hoc part-time cleaner for about $25/hour. You should reconsider if you are thinking of engaging Domestic One for spring cleaning - there are better options.
