Dissatisfied with product totally

I bought the multi-color lighting with remote and each light takes 3 batteries and lasts about 5 hours that's it. How or why would any want to buy all these batteries constantly? This product was a total waste of 20$. User's recommendation: Have to figure out how to use without so many batteries and would last for days.
