I went in with a dislocated finger and all they did was xray it and put it in a split without setting it. They referred me to ortho dr that would take 2 more days before it can be set. I called a 24-hr nurse hotline that night becaue of the pain and was told that any ER would have set it and that the PA was probably too squeamish to set it and it should have been set and then the follow up to the ortho dr instead of initial setting by the ortho two days later. I am in more pain today than after it happened and the finger is going numb. Sending someone on their way without any treatment to fix the dislocation is CRAZY!! They gave me painkillers rather than fixing the dislocation.
