Disinterested and arrogant attitude from Aca Joe

We are ex-South Africans who currently live London. We visit home very often and always look forward to doing a big shop at Aca Joe. We love the clothes. On our last visit, both my boyfriend and I each bought a pair of shorts, amongst other items. Both pairs were washed according to the instructions, however, my pair came out with stains over both pockets. The shorts were taken back to branch where they were bought, where the gentleman in charge agreed that they must be faulty. The shorts were taken back to head office to be assessed. Emails were sent back & forth (often with no response from Aca Joe) between my dad and Geneveive (brand co-ordinator) regarding the issue. Each time detailing different excuses as to why they could not be exchanged. I did not expect a refund, rather simply an exchange or credit note. After 2 months of dealing with the issue, we were told that there was nothing wrong with the shorts. The material had evidently changed colour, but Aca Joe went back on what they had originally agreed over a pair of a few-hundred-rand shorts. My family and I will NEVER shop there again and be treated so badly by their arrogant attitudes and unfair policies!!!
