I was contacted via telephone by a person claiming to be a representative and wanting me to sign up for extended vehicle warranty services. I assumed the phone call was legitimate because my vehicle warranty was due to expire the caller also gave me the last 5 digits of my VIN number on my vehicle. I paid an up front fee of 195.00 dollars (of which is not on my bank statement), however I have not received any paperwork showing my coverage. I called the 2 numbers I was given the day I enrolled and both persons I spoke to said they cannot find me in the system. Needless to say I was scammed. User's recommendation: Obtain a call back number and persons name before providing any information.
