I've used sage accounting for 14 years. Software has always been great. Easy to learn and use. When I upgraded to Windows 10 suddenly the program would not open. Nice sales guy sold me the new version for sage 50 for just over $300 with support. With their help soon everything was working great. 12 months later they want $700 for an updated program with a service package. I say No , I'm ok with my year old software and I'm sure I won't need any service. The guy says well u might start having problems if you don't cough up the 700! I say That sounds like blackmail and a scam and I will just take my chances. Sure enough one month later suddenly my payroll cheque printing feature is gone! I fear other features will disappear soon. They have me over a barrel. This cannot be legal. Surely bait and switch.
