Most seem to be blaming KSL for loss of the signal on DirecTV. But KSl and Bonneville Communications are small potatoes compared to ATT/DirectTV, a hundred billion $ a year company. If ATT paid the fee KSL wants it would be like costing them a penny. In my opinion they just want to throw their weight around and ignore the interests of their DirectTV customers. The other problem is that if you search for the DirecTV local channel line up in Utah you may find the website I did that still lists channel 5 as being provided. I got sucked into this false advertising and switched to DirecTV from Dish. The DirecTV local contractor in Saint George neglected to tell us we were not going to get our most watched network, NBC. He also calculated our supposed savings based on two years at the intro rate. But come to find out right after installation DirecTV only offers that rate for one year. He also neglected to account for having to pay Dish a termination fee. Bottom line is we are not saving anything and lost NBC.
