Did Not Repair My Oven Correctly
*SOLVED

5

On November 14, 2012 an individual from Appliance Repair At Your Service, by owner Jamie Burks, was sent to our house to repair our oven. I had called Appliance Repair At Your Service and Jamie Burks the owner had come out in on October 10, 2011 to fix our GE 24 inch Built-In Gas oven before after he responded to an inquiry I had requested through Service Magic. On October 10, 2011 Jamie Burks fixed the oven by replacing bottom round igniter for the wall oven; thus I called him back to fix the oven on November 14, 2012. He informed me that he was very busy and could not make it out himself, but he would send out his helper or partner to fix the oven. On November 14, 2012 his helper came out to fix the same GE 24 inch Built-In Gas oven; his helper or partner fixed the oven by replacing the same bottom round igniter for the wall oven. The oven turned on and worked, however I was suspicious that it was the same bottom round igniter. However, I did not have to use the oven again until Thanksgiving, when I had to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner, at that time the oven cease to work and would not turn on, when it finally turned on it did not cook the my turkey, because it did not hold the tempreture. I called Jamie Burks of Appliance Repair At Your Service on Monday, November 26 2012, and again informed him of our problem and that I was suspicious that it was the same bottom round igniter. He said that he was very sick and could not make it out himself, but he would send out his helper or partner to check the oven. I waited a week for his helper or partner to fix the oven again. So I called Jamie Burks of Appliance Repair At Your Service again, on December 3, 2012 to to inform him that t his helper or partner did not ever show up; I informed him that he had to make this right some way, Mr. Burks informed me that he did not work the Dallas, Texas area any more, and that his helper or partner told him that the oven was old. I informed him that all his partner or helper seemed to be concerned with was selling me a new oven the whole time he was fixing the oven. I informed Mr. Burks of Appliance Repair At Your Service, on December 3, 2012 that he had to make this right some way. Mr. Burks of Appliance Repair At Your Service informed me that he would send a refund check of half the $140.00 that I was charged me for the repairs made on November 14, 2012 on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. It is now December 18, 2012 and I have not received any type of refund nor is my oven working, because it still has not been fixed. Thus the reason for my complaint, and I would not refer Jamie Burks or any other individual from Appliance Repair At Your Service to do any work.
