Did not honor their policy

Purchased a policy for a trip to the Grenadines in February 2020 through their associated company CSA. We did not decide NOT to go, however the country of Grenada closed its borders to travelers about the end of March. We filed a claim 4/6 and did not hear back until 6/6. The claim was denied they said because we booked during a pandemic. However as stated on Generalis own website, the WHO didnt declare a pandemic until 3/11. And they now claim that it was no good if purchased after late January. So they sold me a policy that they knew was worthless?!? They did not honor their policy and did not offer to refund the price but only offered a future policy credit. Why would anyone resign with a company that doesnt honor their policies? Complete sham. We travel several times a year with different groups of people. This trip there were 8 of us. You can guarantee that none of us or anybody we have contact with will use these crooks again. User's recommendation: Don’t waste your time, money, or frustration on this pathetic company, Beware!
