Did not deliver product, birthday balloons & teddy bear to my grandson , extremely poor customer service

I ordered birthday balloons &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; a stuffed animal for my grandson's birthday, paid a rush order fee to have it delivered to him on his special day, it did not happen. I was not notified by Avas flowers that they were not going to be able to deliver. I contacted them the next day, their excuse was they could not contact the designer. They did not offer to refund my rush order fee at this time. I requested that my rush order fee be refunded, they could not tell me when the order would be delivered. The following day I called AGAIN to see what the status might be, and again I was told they were trying to contact the designer. I told them they either needed to get more than one designer or find a better one because this was incredibly poor business on their part. At no time did they offer to throw in anything extra, take any amount off of my order, nothing. The lady said she was trying to figure out what the "status of my order might be" and would call me back. This was after I had been on hold for 27 minutes. I insisted she give me a time for calling me back THAT day, she said at 7:00 pm that night she would call. I asked if when she called at 7:00 pm she would be able to tell me the status of this order, when these balloons and teddy bear were going to be delivered to my grandson, she said yes. I did receive a phone call at 7:30, she said they were going to be able to deliver the "flowers" the following day, they were not what Ihad orderedd, buttt they were going to make some substitutions. I told her I had not ordered flowers, it was happy birthday balloons and a teddy bear for m6-year-oldld grandson. She placed me on hold for 10 minutes, came back and said they did not have a designer in the area and unfortunately they were not going to be able to fulfill this order. Seriously??? You call and tell me first of all you can deliver flowers that I did not order and now you don't even have a designer to deliver happy birthday balloons??? And avas flowers is supposed to be the "biggest and one of the best florist in the country?" They didn't even have the fricking order right! This has been more than ridiculous! I hope no one else has to go through what I have gone through with this place! Lesson learned. My 6 -year- old grandson thinks I didn't get him anything on his birthday, I had to explain to him that the florist is the one that messed it up. It broke my heart to see his sweet little face and have to tell him I really did send you something! I promise I am going to send you something soon, and it will get there this time! Ava's Florist, I won't forget what you did to this little boy, and I'll make sure all my friends know about it too. You don't deserve to be the number one florist when you treat customers like this.
