Destroy Hair & Leave Threatening Voicemails to Clients Who Tell

1

Update to previous review. 6/20. The salon left me a scathing nasty voicemail personally attacking me- a woman who makes six figures- of wanting free services, among other things. Nope. I'll be paying $1, 000 or more to fix their destruction of my hair. They were tipped 40%, hardly the sign of someone wanting a free 'do. They threatened me to take the review down. They accused me of writing a bad Yelp review too. I didn't, but I might do that and other sites while I'm traveling. I'm publishing the recording of the threatening Voicemail. I will get my money back and then some. A reporter already called me about it. I gave the info of prior employee who contacted me too. Interesting to also hear from their prior colleagues, lol. They threatened me with legal action, lol. Classic Anti-SLAPP case that I'd win because I have a right to free speech and they are not public figures. Conversely, their threats to me could constitute the crime of extortion and they were dumb enough to leave it on a recording. All over a measly $200 they could've refunded. It'll surely cost more than $200 in business when people read my free speech. They can't even get the reviews of mistaken identity removed. Additionally, there is zero comparison between them and Shelley's salon. They don't deserve the honor of being confused with Shelley, one of the finest Heroes of our time. Since the salon has few actual clients, they read reviews in real-time. The bullying tactics don't work on me. I have the $10k to retain an attorney and file criminal charges too. A cease and desist is being sent out. The salon is hereby ordered to not contact me, not speak of me and do not make disparaging comments about me via themselves or any third-party. They are ordered to preserve all evidence and communications. At this point I may possibly consider forgetting about all that happened if they do the right thing and apologize and refund the money on or before June 24, 2020. They can text only to get card info to refund, anything else is a violation of cease and desist. No guarantees but I may consider dropping the situation. 6/19 There comes a time when I have to stand up for myself and the beautiful mane I was always known for. I had tried and tried with the salon to get the color and cut I had in the past. They didn't want the color formulation from my stylist who retired. They wouldn't refund me. Instead, they kept having me back, promising to do my hair as shown in pictures I brought. Homa was very sloppy with the color and cut, then they used thinning shears to fix it, which made it top-heavy. They keep saying toner will fix the color but it always turns back to the brick-red I don't like. Color isn't sticking in other areas and it comes out in my tub or drips down my neck when I sweat. I tipped nicely the first two times ($80 on the $200 that I spent) because that's how I am. I sent my retired stylist photos and she is absolutely appalled and offered to drive four hours to my home to correct it before her license expires. A girl at my office asked about my hair and said she had similar happen to her last year but I'll just let her do a review if she wants. Word from the wise: if they don't do your hair right the first time, just go somewhere else. Don't fall for the promises to correct your hair from the people that couldn't get it right the first time. I heard from a prior worker that they talk bad about customers and make fun of them, and I heard it for myself last time. Well, I have to laugh at people that think they can do things like this to my hair and tote blue hair as an accolade on social media. I need refunded the $200 (service cost, not the tip) so I can pay my other stylist to fix this and I'll wash my hands of this experience and delete this review. My credit card company said I should have filed a charge back the first time and said I can do dispute if they don't refund. User's recommendation: Avoid but they won't be open much longer lol.
