I bought a 2008 Hyundai Sonata from Dennis hyundai Easton on June 1st 2010. The car had barely 30,000 miles on it, currently (Sept. 14th 2010) the car has about 38,000 miles. I bought an extended warrenty on the car (Caremore Warrenty;Premier Kit 100,000 mile) and was told this was the best warrenty I could buy. I took the car to Dublin Hyundai the first week of Septemeber for an oil change and because my breaks were making a noise. When I was contacted by the service men at Dennis Hyundai Dublin, they advised me that my front and back breaks were "shot" and the cost for repair would be over $800. Along with my breaks they said I also had build up in my fuel injection, my transmission needed flushed AND my passenger seat belt needed a $209.00 piece to make my air bag light turn off that had been on for two weeks. I told Dennis Hyundai Dublin that I was under warrenty and that all of this should be covered. I had previously had my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light service 3 times, because it would keep coming on, and THAT was covered. Dennis Hyundai Dublin preceeded to tell me that they had no record of me in their system owning this car OR haveing a warrenty. At that time I called Dennis Hyundai Easton and got my warrenty information. I called Dennis Hyundai Dublin and gave them my information and they told me that the seatbelt piece would be covered under warrenty but everything else would not be. When I told them that I havent even had the car for 4 full months, they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I have not even made $500 worth of payments on this car, but they are telling me I need over $1,000 worth of repairs for things that should not be wrong with a car that I've only had for 3 full months. I feel they sold me a lemon and should pay for these repairs or give me another vehical. The carfax for this vehical was totally clean, no accidents, only one owner. Nothing that would signal I'd need all these repairs in only 3 short months.
