Delivered refrig not fully functional

The store manager tells me to call Kenmore/Sears Home Service for free repair of the frig but Sears says the Am Frt store has to arrange repairs. User's recommendation: check items very carefully upon delivery because any issues are on you; even the extended warranty will not cover certain damages.
