We purchased a 2017 brand new Mallard from Camping World. $27,318.70 . The purchase date was Feb.28,2017. From that delivery date we used that unit one time in Ocean City,Md. From that point I discovered that the slide exterior panel came apart. UNGLUED. Camping world took 30 pictures and made this determination that we neglected this new camper,calling it water damage. HA HA. After many complaints Heartland told us to have it estimated for a good-will repair. After the price was submitted Heartland changed the whole goodwill effort to too bad...its your problem. The people who wrote the repair order claimed that he was in business for 27 years and it was not a water leak. Imagine that a brand new camper LEAKING. That says a lot about the workmanship and a company standing behind their product. Anyway the estimate cost me $147.00 and still a slide with a bubble on it. I'm going to leave the bubble because I want the people to see Heartlands product. I'm going to use the tire cover to notify the vehicle following me how satisfied and the people walking by our camper what a great unit we have and how happy we are. Vin # is 5sfnb3122he323446.
