Defective polish

When I opened the gel top coat for the first time the brush is defective..half of it was spread outwards and easily pulled apart...the other half came out of the bottle half way and pulled apart from the applicator..I do have photos to show...so I had to remove my 2 coats of polish since I did not have top coat. Unable to return to store since it is open...very unhappy.
