We bought the Maytag top loader Model MVWC465HW2 just over 2 years ago. Control board went bad, and nationwide outage on the part. Washer is no longer under warranty and the repair company couldn't give an estimate on time to get the new part. They said 6-8 weeks for customers still under warranty, indefinite for those not under warranty. What kind of washing machine breaks in 2 years with a major repair?nt DDont Totally pissed. User's recommendation: Dont buy Maytag.
