Defected pool

Hello I am writing this email because I have recently purchased one of you're 14' by 36" summer waves pools. I have my receipt a long with my bank statement that shows the purchase on may 5th. My 4 year old son has begged me for a pool for months and being a single mother I just couldn't afford it. I was finally able to save up enough money to purchase one. I bought it on the 5th but on may 6th I was almost done setting it up. Once the water started to fill up in the pool it was about half way when it just ripped down one side almost looked like maybe it was dry rotted. I understand things happen I work in retail. I took it to biglots where I had purchased it and all the pieces were there. Big lots refuses to exchange it because I did not have the box. The box I had put out to the trash company not thinking I would need it. I had the reciept and it clearly looked brand new. They just will not exchange it. I can not afford another $120 to get another one. My son did not even get to swim in it at all. Please is there anything you can do to help me with this problem.
