Deceptive practices Expedia

1

Without giving too much detail, I had a coupon to use on Expedia. Because of some foul up on their end, they wanted me to use my credit card and be refunded the coupon amount. Trying to get this resolved in any way, shape or form took almost two hours and conversations with 7 cust service reps, inc 2 supervisors & someone in corporate cust service. The last person, Cody, in Las Vegas, who completed the order using my card, sent a refund notice which stated it would take up to 15 days for the bank to process the refund. So not only did I supply the funding immediately to complete a transaction that was supposed to be covered by them, Cody did not mention the 15 day delay. I have had dealings with Expedia before and they have got to be the worst know-nothings in the whole of customer servicedom. Not one of them today or in the past knew how to handle anything. Why does AARP continue to use it? Why did I? Because of that coupon, the one with the "technical issue." Don't be suckered by them.
