We recently had ASSAULT PEST CONTROL give us an estimate for a rat problem that started when we removed two large palm trees in our back yard with a third smaller one still standing because of its rarity. But when Vincent was here we explained that our yard became over populated after removing the two palm trees and the cat would bring them in the house through the dog door some were dead but a few get away and we have to trap them Vincent agreed with us and said we are professional and have many ways to deal with your problem and reduce the population So we decided to have them dealt with by a pro so we paid them 450.00 dollars and they had a another tech come out and he blocked off the crawl space with a piece of plywood and set a trap inside that space and another one in the attic But when he came out two days later to check the traps I said you need to put them were you’re going to get results and as Vincent said they would but this is when I wrote them a letter telling them to change your strategy or refund our money but after questioning them I found out that they don’t have several techniques in fact they are only licensed to restrict and trap but if they were not deceptive when Vincent was here he would of asked about why and where the screen was off is because I removed it myself the day before because a rat that escaped the cats grip got under the icebox and bite the plastic line for the icemaker And I had the valve located where I can turn it off at any time because I am in a wheelchair and this is something that we had happen before and I would have the first person put it back but Vincent or his tech never asked about the screen but if the tech even went under the house like they claimed they would of seen it and even have to crawl over it and were they placed the trap they would reach over it but then I found out because they are only licensed to restrict and trap is why it was never mentioned only after the plywood was placed and they had caught zero rats but Vincent refuses to acknowledge that they did anything wrong he seems to want to hide behind his estimate but don’t seem to care about the lies that he told us that got him that job but he did mention on his last email that our problem still may be in the trees that is where our problem always was the only time that problem was anywhere else is when he saw the only opportunity to get a signed contract even if it was not what he claimed and it did nothing to reduce our rat population this company is deceptive and dishonest I would recommend that you use a honest company that will guarantee their work and not use the used car salesman approach like AASAULT does very poor public relations and a waste of time and money
