I bought a large master all wood dresser from the dump. They came on the first delivery date 5/8/18. They knocked on my door and said they could not deliver the dresser because it was too big and there were only 2 movers. I had to call customer service twice to check on my new delivery date. The delivery company came back on 5/13 to deliver my dresser, but again they showed up with 2 people. The driver said he was calling for help and 2 other men arrived. The first group of men brought my dresser in, but took the legs off the dresser and threw them in the bushes outside to get it in the door. Which means, I had to go outside and gather the legs of my $1300 dresser out of the dirt. Then they had me speak to someone at the delivery company who said I had to verbally say I waived my rights if they damaged anything at my house. I told her no. I'm not telling anyone it's o.k to damage my home because they don't have the right equipment to deliver a dresser. Secondly, the men tore my wall up bringing my dresser up the stairs. The top of my light on the wall is busted through the drywall with scratches all against my wall going up the staircase. They left and straightened the light out because it was crooked all the way to the side, but never said a word about the damages or that someone would contact me. I have called customer service, written them an email with pictures attached and I have not heard back from anyone. I did not sign any of the ridiculous waivers saying they could tear my house up to deliver furniture. This is unacceptable.
