This place is disgusting with a man that claims he is the owner with very poor customer service. He is the kind of person that does not care how the customers or the public see him. I am in the process of getting my nephew a drivers license for the first time. So I was calling around to find a rental that did not take a major credit card. I came across this place of business, and they quoted me $104 for the day which includes tax, insurance and everything else you need to rent a car. He said I need to put a $250 security deposit down and the fees will be deducted from the security deposit when we bring it back. Just to let everyone know that is how they rip you off. I had to call this company back 3 times to ask about the insurance to be included and the guy snapped at me the last time saying that I had told you three times now because I took your call each time yes. Which is a bold face lie because 2nd time I called it was a completely different person. Someone with a gentle friendly voice. I will never go back to the place again or refer this place to any friends, neighbors or acquaintances. Ok, so we finally go there to rent a car. The guy tells us the security deposit will be $300. I said what. You had quoted me $250. He asked when are you bringing it back. We told him we could before the close of business that day. He said ok I will take $250 for the security deposit. Every 3 calls I asked them to make sure the SD was $250. So that was the first lie, from this company. Well, we take the car. It is in our possession for a little under 3 hours. When we first leave the rental place we get on the highway and another vehicle had thrown a little pebble at the rent a car window. Not even noticeable. When we bring the car back the guy that inspects the vehicles was running out to inspect it because saw family pulls in with the car. He was coming in to tell the guy behind the counter that everything was good to go. That is how little the ding was from the rock. But my mother being an honest person told him what had happened. He then sent his worker who inspects back out and came back in and told him it was barely noticeable. Well, long story shorter I only got $46 back. He and my brother got into a verbal altercation because he was ripping me off. It ended with him yelling *** you at my brother and my brother leaving the building. Then after my brother left the rental car building. The guy starts yelling at my mother saying I will not do any business with you until he gets off my property. Yes, he was yelling at my mother. My mother was not going to take that and started yelling back at him and then left the building while he was yelling all sorts of profanity at her too. He then tells me after giving me the $46 back that you can call Monday to see if you get any more money back but if you bring him or her to my property I will not do business with you. They are my ride. I don't drive, I don't have a vehicle, and I don't even have a passion to drive. But I know that he planned on keeping my money. I took the $46 but before leaving the building, I calmly said: just to let you know, when I get mad I am worst than them. I was only talking not yelling, not giving attitude, just making a statement. He starts yelling at me *** YOU, GET THE *** OUT OF HERE, ALL YOU GET OFF MY PROPERTY. I have experienced bad customer service before but this one is by far the worst.
