My ex husband opened an account with them, mind you they won’t qualify me for one. But he can get 1500 credit limit with no issues. That’s besides the point. Ex husband defaulted on the credit card and they were threatening to cross collateral on the vehicle. Regardless if it was being made on time. So I try to get the car refinanced under my name. Their response “ due to other accounts outside of GECU, were unable to refinance your vehicle” are you kidding me. For three years, I paid with no issues, I’ve been in business with you guys for 20 + years. And that’s your decision! So my credit is damaged because they wanted d a vehicle that was worth 1000 times the balance my ex husband owed! They couldn’t tell me Anything about the account. Other than were taking your car.
