Customer service reps should be good listeners and cop the condescending manner

Feb.10 I presented to Dania Beach facility requesting assistance in purchasing correct ink cartridge for my Epson XP410. I presented my epson paper work to employee and he advised me "you need a 212 cartridge". He then brought to the section and handed me a 212 ink cartridge and said"this is all you need". I "cannot read cartridge". I then checked out and went home. The next morning I put the cartridge properly in the printer and printer message could not recognize cartridge. Upon further reading of epson paper, it required a 200 cartridge. I returned to your facility and explained this whole story to customer service who advised me you do not accept returns on ink cartridges.( I understand the policy but felt this was an exception as I in good faith accepted employees help in thinking he knew what he was doing which obviously he did not.) I was upset and told customer service person that I was told by their employee this was correct cartridge and wanted to exchange. she advised me that since the item was a carry out I got the item and purchased. This is so wrong, the employee took the item and handed it to me saying it was the proper item. Customer service lady then gave me a condescending stare and I left. I will never do business there again and I do not appreciate this kind of treatment. Shirley Randle receipt #026042****
