Customer service delay rental car coverage needed

Insurance working with maaco, Maaco had three delays. After close to a month insurance stopped paying for rental car. Maaco needed at least one more day, possibly two to complete Painting and add clear coat. Insurance said Maaco is now responsible for my rental not them. How am I to be reimbursed for my out of pocket rental expense. Waiting to hear back from corporate.
