Custom shop 10/22 Rifle Problems

I just recently purchased a Ruger custom shop rifle for competition shooting. 2 problems-- the rotary magazines will not drop out and get stuck. The bolt hold open lever gets stuck and will not engage. I paid $800 for this rifle and am very disappointed in the craftmenship. User's recommendation: Check throughly before buying.
