Curry’s Auto VA is a joke

I went to Curry's Auto Repair in Chantilly, VA based on decent reviews. I told the technician my car would emit a loud screeching sound whenever the brakes were depressed. Something simple, right!?! Soooo wrong!!!!! The manager calls me and recommends replacing the front brake pads. Okay. He also says the car battery needs replacing. I just replaced the battery in June 2010 but he said it is bad and its draining power which may ruin the electronic system. There is no charge for the battery but labor charges for the service. Okay. I call Curry's 30 minutes before the close of business to see if I should pick-up the car. The manager insists the technician will call me when its finished and I can pick the car up. He promises the technicians work late and will call. Guess what...no one called. Had to take leave the next day to get the car. I pick-up the car the next day and the manager minus the cost of rental car on the bill because of the mistake. Apology is made and the cost adjustment is deemed okay. Everything is completed - new battery, tune-up, fluid change, brake pads changed - labor is very expensive but expected with an import (Infiniti FX 35) The loud screeching sound is gone but not the alarm goes off intermittently. Called Curry's and explained the situation and returned. They check the car and discover the tailgate needs alignment. The job is done and the alarm does not activate. Labor changes very expensive again. Its not over - now when the car hits a bump or drives over a speed bump the rear interior light flashes. Called Curry's and told to bring the car back. The technician called and said he did a test drive and did not experience the light coming on. He said he checked the tailgate alignment again and did another test drive but did not see the light come on. Labor charges again - three visits result in three seperate labor charges resulting in approximately two thousand dollars to Curry's which all started with a screeching sound. I believe Curry's ripped me off with three seperate visits resulting in overblown charges. Don't go to Curry's for any services...stick with the dealer or someone else but not Curry's. If you don't believe me Virginia....go and take your car to Curry's and get ready to clean out your bank account. Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
