The corporate crooks that created the financial crisis lobbied the Obama Admin to create the Hope Act which marketed under the exclusive guise of lowering payments through interest rate reductions or longer amortizations but the program in 92% of the cases abated payments for 1 year and then served demand letters for the years worth of payments on month 13. When someone seeking relief was unable to pay 12 months mortgage payments on the 13th month they stamped the borrowers credit as a foreclosure, added an abundance of fees the Obama Hope Act empowered them to add; and now the homes they choose not to foreclose on are stuck with Bayview for 7 years. Bayview and the Hope Act are the most deceptive, immoral, and abusive to middle class, elderly and the lesser sophisticated people who actually did need help and didn’t get bailed out by corrupt congress like congress’s special interests.
