Couldn’t get the difference refunded in the price change

I ordered a lot of items in one order and noticed right after items have decreased in price. I thought I could get the difference refunded. And honestly I could return it and reorder the items. But, it's a few dollars... Its just surprising that they couldn't honor the new price.
