Couldnt get help with phone service

Bought a phone online they didn't scan the barcode so it couldn't get activated took it to the store where I got it from they said they couldn't scan the barcode Straight Talk couldn't help me get my phone hooked up so pretty much lost $60 actually even with the card we bought also another 45 on the car so altogether we lost $105 on it since nobody could actually help me activate the phone
