Costed me 17K and then they killed my cat
1
Took 6 month and 8K to correctly diagnose my cat who has had low blood sugar levels leading to repetitive severe seizures, although the blood sugar was already low on our reference test when we first visited them. They never thought to double check the low blood sugar and always told us it might just be a “false negative” since the blood sample might have been sitting too long. Then after my cat survived her surgery to remove the pancreatic mass which produced extra insulin, they found unexplained air in her lung. First I was told it might be from the intubation during surgery then they changed to claim it was from the nasal feeding tube. The air around her lungs eventually made it impossible for my cat to breathe and we had to euthanized her to end her suffering. All the ICU costs, bills adds up to 17K, a dead kitty, and broken hearts.
