Corporate Bullies

2

We moved in to an Invitation Home in Sept 2018 only to have a rodent infestation of which Invitation did not seem to make a priority. It took them several visits and as many weeks to resolve THIS issue. We had other issues of which they would schedule 3rd Party Contractors to come to the home, on many occasions the contractor would not show up nor did they have the courtesy to call. Per Invitation homes, in preparation for the contractors arrival we need to "Hide our valuables". What kind of contractors are they sending to my home?!? We have had documented carpet issues since we have moved in, one gentleman came to the house and stared at the carpet for 2.5 hours only to report he could not fix the issue. IH tried to reschedule another visit to "Evaluate" the situation. It has been almost 6 months and we have no resolution. After trying to contact Michael Perez for 1 month (says he was out sick and vacation) we decided we wanted to end our lease and agreed to pay only 50% of the early term fee. They want all of the fee. Large corporations believe they can provide sub standard service without consequence. I suggest to anyone considering to lease from them to do your homework, look at reviews, talk to people. We are not alone and our voice needs to be heard.
