Corn in supposedly &no corn& dog food

5

I found hard whole kernels of corn in some of the cans of food. I emailed the company about it and gave them the numbers and dates on the cans and told them where I bought them and they told me that they did not put corn in the food, it was barley hulls that I was seeing. I emailed them back and said no, it is bright yellow hard whole kernels of corn not barley hulls, I know the difference. They never said they would check into it or anything, they showed no concern about this and I told them I would send them the pieces of corn and they said okay, but I never sent it because all they kept saying was their food did not contain corn. I know several of the cans that I had did! They sent me coupons for money off their product! My dog has skin & allergy problems and I started using Canidae dry & canned foods because they are supposed to contain human grade ingredients with no fillers and no corn. I will no longer feed my dog this brand of food. So I am now suspicious of the so called "premium" dog foods. Am I paying more and still getting the same ingredients as in the cheap foods?!
