conveyancing fee being over 81% of the fix net written quotation for full conveyancing service fee

This start with Gordon Conveyancing Monash who gave us a net quotation total fee of $1210 for their service in December 2018 and ask us an initial deposit of $495 that we paid. The remaining to pay was expected to be $715, nothing more! The settlement happen in May 2019, but this time with Gordon Conveyancing Darebin and Gordon Conveyancing Manningham! Their total fees were $2555.81 (excluding stamp duty and the land cost). We have received a refund of $275. We have just realized that many unclear payment was made: our initial deposit of $495 was ignored and kept by Gordon Conveyancing Monash who closed the office for maternity holidays. The 800m2 land is not at all connected with water/electricity... but a fee for water rate was issued... a Trust account fee which was expected from our quotation of $55 change into $225 Etc... We have been cheated and trapped. I wish to know how I can force this company to refund the excess of money paid unjustified.
