Continued disappointment with their work from two years ago

Update by user Oct 16, 2020 They have not responded. Original review updated by user Oct 16, 2020 We paid over $12,000.00 for a custom shower. They refused to do what we asked for, and always suggested cheaper alternatives after we had signed the contract. They surprised us when they installed the very cheapest and thinnest glass doors the law will allow. The doors rattled constantly. They could not figure out how to fix it to our satisfaction. I ended up fixing it with a very simple fix and it is disappointing that a professional couldn't do it the first, second, or third time they visited. Then, there was the water cutoff. Because they had to move the pipes, we lost the cutoff, and they wouldn't put one back in. We had to pay a plumber when the pipe beyond the cutoff broke and flooded the closet, which would have been a snap to fix if they had put the cutoff back. I asked them to at the time, they couldn't do it. Then there is the material and workmanship itself. The material at the top in the corners has faded. All we received are excuses, and more excuses, as to why they can't make it right. The saddest part is they continue to send me requests for my business as if they had earned my repeat business. Then the cheap rubber they used in the rail on the door gave out and the rail fell off. I took an extra one inch of rubber they should have used in the first place and worked it back in between the rails and the glass. I called them and asked them to quote me new doors, apparently $12,500 does not get a door thicker than .125 inches. They don't call back. They pretend its impossible to do what other contractors do. It goes with their continuous process of minimizing our desires and replacing them with inferior materials at a high price. The salesman has since left. He thought this could all be worked out with a free dinner. The picture shows the thickness of the door compared to a dime. It speaks for itself. User's recommendation: Only do what they are known for, maybe Windows and Doors. Specify every single detail to include the quality of the material up front. Our contract was too vague, even though we thought it detailed at the time. Don't assume they will use quality products.
