Contact Lens Rebate
*SOLVED
Alcon offered "rebate" for purchase of qualified contact lens. Submitted all required doc's as instructed....didn't hear back. Went on-line to check on status....on their site over 10,000 submissions were "declined" due to "couldn't read bar code"? I inquired about my rebate....received their email stating they sent me a "notification via email" and had 30 days to respond (I didn't get an email from them - checked my email, including "spam"...couldn't find the email. Do you really believe over 10,000 submissions had UPC codes that couldn't be read? I checked my documents, and didn't have ANY issue reading the barcodes....sounds to me like the rebate promotion cost way more than the company estimated and elected to use a cheap way out of paying....what a poor marketing fiasco!! I will NEVER purchase ANY Alcon products from this point forward....
