Constant interruption of internet service we pay for!
1
Over the past few months we have been loosing our internet service for no obvious reasons. We have challenged our IT resources, but were told that Cincinnati Bell (CB) changed something (there is a technical term for it) in their modem which blocks our outside access and it has messed up our servers and their efficiencies. We complained to Cincinnati Bell and they said over and over and over and over that they didn't do anything that would change our service. UNTIL we got to April Paletta Brogden (513-397-****), who admitted that there were changes made. Technicians were sent out by Cincinnati Bell to reset the modem, one technician said "yeah, I used to do this, but they stopped providing that service." The other had no idea what to do. Our IT team spent the entire time with them to make sure it was done in a way that would correspond with out internal setup. Finally, we learned that Fi-Optics (which we pay for) isn't a hard line hookup - we can get one from CB for DOUBLE what our current service costs of course and began the process of doing so! However, it seems that in the last five days the modem has been again changed and out systems and access was again totally lost. April was in a meeting when we last called so I spoke with David Demo (513 397-****) only to find out that their technicians would be here to fix the problem TOMORROW afternoon SOMETIME between 1 and 5 pm. I wish there were another way to get phone service, I mean real service that included internet that is reliable and that doesn't fail every few days. I don't know who to yell at, I don't know who will compensate our business for the loss of time and efficiency due to the poor service we are receiving from Cincinnati Bell.
