Consolidated Smart Systems
Last billing period my Bank of America checking account was deducted from twice from Consolidated, one that I did authorize which was paid on time using BofA on line bill pay cleared 4/26/2010, and the other which was not authorized made as an electronic transfer on 5/4/2010. Being disabled and living on a very fixed income, this caused my bank account to go negative, causing me to incur fees and put my other bill payments at risk. I know it's only $60, but it hit at a time where my funds were below $60 in this account. This has caused an overdraft fee from Bank of America and a cash advance fee on my credit card, both $39 each. When trying to contact them by mail, email, and phone, there is no resolution, just back talk and the typical cable runaround. The CEO, Dan Tirhaggen, seems to be a crooked businessman. If you have a choice, stay away from Consolidated Smart Systems / Direct TV.
