Consistently poor customer service

No matter how simple my request, from having a question to making a payment, what should be a little deal most always turns into a big deal, and time-consuming. Either I get someone on the phone who is not well informed and tries to punt answering the question or I am on hold for a fair amount of time only to be disconnected or my favorite one.... I get transferred to two or three departments only to have to start out at square one stating the reason for my call. Is it too much to ask an organization of this size to at least adequately handle the basics? get the basics User's recommendation: Choose a different bank.
