I bought the Oral B 1000 electric toothbrush several months ago It never worked properly and finally quit all together after less than two months of use. I contacted Braun and they had me send it to a repair shop in my area. Though they did provide the free shipping label I had to purchase the padded envelope at $5 a pop. I received the new toothbrush approximately one week later. After several days I had the same problem and repeated the process again springing for another padded envelope. Another replacement brush and again after two days the exact same problem again. Now I've spent $43 for the toothbrush $10 on padded envelopes and $12 on replacement brushes and I still don't have a working Oral B electric toothbrush. Oral B (Braun) offered to send me a coupon worth $25 towards a purchase of another one of their products. My gosh how generous of them lol! But no refund for their defective product. Incidentally this is the worst, most poorly engineered electric toothbrush I have ever owned. In addition to being defective the brushes are too hard and there is only one speed setting. *** ***
