I had to have the air conditioning compressor replaced for my 2017 WRX and noticed that there are many complaints about this issue across quite a few Subaru models. Ive also noticed that this issue had happened multiple times with the same owner and vehicle. There should be a recall for this issue. User's recommendation: Submit complaints until Subaru takes action for this manufacturing defect.
