Complaint No Spare Tire Really !

Chrysler now losing 2 customers at the end of our leases Original review updated by user Jan 19, 2021 You will be losing 2 customers at the end of our leases. Recently I had a flat tire on I-94 expressway in Detroit. I choose to get off the expressway as not to get hit changing a tire. As I was in a bad part of town like burned out buildings I choose to limp to a gas station to safely change my tire. Imagine my shock to find NO SPARE TIRE ! Only an inflate a tire kit which would of been fine if it was repairable that way except I had a blow out. My choice then was to wait for Chrysler towing or AAA for who knows when they get there . I choose to limp 2 miles on a flat tire to a Belle tire who couldn't help me because then didn't have the tire I needed by law. I then limped 2 more miles on a flat tire down the road to a Chrysler dealer . He had a tire and I have tire care and that should of been that. NO HE WAS TOO LAZY TO PROCESS MY WARRANTY CLAIM. He gave me 2 options leave it for 2 days or file the claim myself. I have still 20 miles from home with no ride I choose to do it myself. I am still waiting for my $227 remibursement from Mopar . I had to pay my credit card company already and right before Christmas. I contacted my dealer and asked if I could upgrade my lease to a vehicle with a spare and was told no . I asked about a spare and was told I could get one for $400 REALLY ! More money I don't have right now so I bought one on Ebay for $300. The fact that you can get a spare and I was never told in the first place my Jeep Compass never had one *** ME OFF . I would of rolled the cost of into my lease and we wouldn't be having this conversation. As you can see not all tires are fixable with the fix a flat kit . IT IS TOTALLY UNSAFE NOT TO PROVIDE A SPARE TO GET BETTER EMMISSIONS OR SAVE COSTS. My wife and I have taken 2 trips to South Carolina in my vehicle from Michigan I would be PISSED if this had happened in the mountains. For something as simple as a spare tire or even basic communication YOU ARE LOSING 2 CUSTOMERS AS MY WIFE WILL LEAVE TOO. Sad part is you got our business in the first place because Ford provided poor customer service to my wife and we had been with them for 25 yrs each. GOOD BY CHRYSLER ! FORGOT TO MENTION I AM IN HEART FAILURE THIS DID NOTHING BUT HURT MY SITUATION WITH UNEEDED STRESS User's recommendation: Stop being cheap either put spare tires in or offer them.
